During the 2021 storming of the United States Capitol our full demonstration of American exceptionalism was on display for the world to witness. During that event, never before have we seen such a level of documentation of a shared experience where the implicated parties on both sides were on display for the world to see under so many watchful(documenting) eyes. Using machine learning on a batch of thousands of images a AI bot was trained to recognize similarities in the faces of those that stormed the Capitol. The bot was then utilized to create 500 more images based on its findings, mimicking the process of anonymity-to-celebrity that unfolded when these actors took to their online behavior IRL.
